Who Inspires You?

 

This statement shares a truth.

 

I can only take myself as far as I have already come without others to show and inspire my next steps.

 

Many people inspire us.

Penny continues to inspire us.

My husband inspires me.

My children inspire me.

A good friend who lives far away inspires me.

A friend who lives nearby inspires me.

 

They inspire me because they:

think of others before themselves

are creative

are loving

have qualities I don't have

are outliers in being amazing

 

I have seen in serving with my children each day:

how service and kindness inspire more service and kindness. 

 

What we do counts.

What our children  can do counts.

Our children, even the young and active ones, can serve.

Teach them to serve.
