Quite a week in our house! Things have been a bit more stressful than normal. You have those weeks, too. Yesterday's Penny of Time went poorly, in my estimation. No one was listening. Everyone was distracted. Frustrated, I ended it and walked away mumbling that it just wasn't working.
My husband, just home from work, heard me and said: It is working. It is worth it.
He is right. The thoughtful and caring people we are teaching our children to be won't happen in grandiose acts; it will happen in little bits. So, if you have those frustrating moments when you are teaching good things to your kids, don't get discouraged and stop. It is working--it is worth it.
