"Penny of Time" Adventure: Getting Dad in on the Serving Action

Today, my four year old helped me brainstorm how we could get Dad in on some of the serving action.  Just because of schedules, we complete most of our "pennies of time" adventures while Dad is away at work.

We came up with the idea that he could complete some "pennies of time" at work and then tell them about them when he got home.  (We think we are goldenly genius for thinking of this!!)

So, we put together some of his favorite things and surprised him with it at work.  Boy, he was surprised and delighted!

And then we asked him to help us decorate some "extras" that we brought and asked him if he could do some "pennies of time" at work and tell us about them.

He was so excited!  He is always looking for ways to serve and always tells the boys when he completes an act of service for someone.  This way, we made it even easier for him to serve!

Have fun serving, DAD!  Can't wait to hear your stories!

(PS we had fun hearing his stories and can't wait to hear more!)
